Whilst continuing his session drumming for
other chart topping bands such as ‘The New Seekers’ and ‘Johnny Hates
Jazz’ Mark embarked on a solo project Produced by German music legend
Harald Faltermeyer (Beverly Hills Cop/Top Gun).
Mark spent 2 years writing with Harald before
signing with BMG Germany and moving to Berlin in 1993.
In 2002, Mark wrote his first screenplay,
‘Marcello’s Date’ (www.marcello-movie.com) which went on to become
both an international film and book (see Projects).
Mark moved to Cornwall, England with his wife
Susanne in 2004 and is continuing his literary writing career (see Books) as well as his national
award winning environmental pursuits. In 2009, Mark was
offered and accepted an unconditional fellowship of the RSA.
